Reverse rotation flywheel help

I've got a 1983 Catalina 275 with a reverse rotation 305 thats worn out, so what I did was, I swapped in a 1996 Vortec 5.7 short block and converted it to RH rotation using the original 305 cam and lifters. Everything went together fine, but now im stuck trying to find a RH rotation flywheel that fits a 1-piece rear main seal. The ones Ive found have the ring gear on the wrong side. Any ideas?

You can check with marine suppliers that deal in Mercruiser parts from the '90s. I think there are RH flywheels made for 1-piece seals. They just might match what you're looking for.

Hehe, a tricky combo, 1 piece RMS limits your options big time and you'll probably need a custom balanced RH flywheel or have a standard 1 piece flywheel rebalanced for reverse rotation by a machine shop

Thanks for the heads up!! Do you know any reliable shops that specialize in rebalancing flywheels for reverse rotation, or is this something i'd likely have to send out of state?
